Each twist series consists of three or four light boxes representing themselves as computer graphics. The simulated light boxes display abstract compositions of structures playing with illusionary spaces and surfaces.
An additional layer is created by tilting the motiv into a computer generated space in which the simulated boxes are mounted on a wall.
A subtile undertone is added by a reflection that suggests the lightbox hanging somewhere else.
Simulated and abstract space, fore- and background interfere and merge with each other in the emerging objects. The observer perceives these objects as a mixture of different layers of image and reality.
