DESCRIPTION

Located in the inner city of Muelheim a prominent construction site with a crane is the stage of the intervention.
A big grey formwork panel is to be attached to the building crane and serves as a projection plane. On the ground level a high luminosity video beamer projects it‘s picture.
The panel catches part of the video projection. Through the motion of the crane boom the visual content is „scanned“. The video itself shows the computer simulated and estranged façade of the emerging building in a fixed perspective and realistic size. The chief motive of the alienation is raw stone. It embodies nature and nativeness, the raw and unshaped.
As a counter play to the plain simulated façade the stone becomes the protagonist of a surreal urban staging.
A selective audible sound composition affirms, exaggerates or counters the visual experience.
